Hey. Please don't beat yourself up about your work. Yes, sex sells, and that's a fact. Unfortunately, it applies here as well. After all, "appeal" is one of the 12 principles of animation.
But don't let that bug or discourage you from doin' or drawin' what you love. You're the man of the page, so whatever you draw, it's for your own satisfaction. Your art style does NOT suck. It ain't perfect, but is anything ever truly "perfect"? Plus, it won't help you in the long run if you only focus on the numbers on the screen. For years, the way I've seen it, I just draw whatever's in my noggin, regardless of how many peeps may or may not see it. And as long as at least ONE of 'em are happy/enjoy my stuff, that lets me know that what I'm doin' is worthwhile.
You draw not to be flawless but for your satisfaction, so please don't fret about your work, it's unique & very nice.
